Taylor Swift and her fans are going after Scooter Braun after he bought Big Machine Records, which owns her back catalog of country music. That's unfortunate news for rising country artist Scooter Brown--who is definitely not Braun, but is bearing the brunt of things anyway. "We need your help! Fans are confusing Scooter BROWN (of the Scooter Brown Band) with Scooter Braun," Brown's p.r. firm, 117 Entertainment, posted Monday on Facebook. "Scooter Brown and the band have been getting loads of hate messages from angry Taylor Swift fans!" The firm added, "Scooter Brown is just trying to tour, make music and have fun. We'd love your help in sharing the news that this Southern Rocker is not the Scooter they're looking for--although they should listen to his music!" Saving Country Music notes that Brown was heretofore best known as one of Travis Tritt's contestants on the USA Network’s Real Country.
