Students Target Colleges in Lawsuit Over Bribery Scheme

March 15, 2019

Several students are suing Yale, Georgetown, Stanford and other schools involved in the college bribery scheme, saying they and others were denied a fair shot at being admitted. The AP reports that the plaintiffs brought the class-action complaint in federal court in San Francisco on Wednesday on behalf of themselves and other applicants. They asked for unspecified damages. This marks the first lawsuit to come out of the college admissions scandal.
