Shia LaBeouf Tattooed His Entire Chest for New Film "The Tax Collector"

July 6, 2020

Director David Ayers recently revealed that actor Shia LaBeouf had his entire torso tattooed for his role in The Tax Collector, according to Newsweek. "He's one of the best actors I've worked with, and he's the most committed to body and soul," Ayers said. "He kind of goes all in, and I've never known anyone that committed." The tattoos include the word "creeper" and a giant clown. In the film, LaBeouf plays a character named Creeper who collects gang monies for a crime lord. This isn't the first off-the-wall thing LaBeouf has done for a movie. He got 12 tattoos for the film American Honey, sent a sex tape to director Lars Von Trier for the film Nymphomaniac, and took acid for Charlie Countryman. For his last film with Ayers, he had a tooth pulled and a co-star says he cut his face on purpose for the film. The Tax Collector is being released in theaters and on-demand on August 7.
