Law enforcement authorities announced Wednesday that 36-year-old Ryan Reavis has been arrested in connection to the overdose death of musician Mac Miller. Entertainment Tonight reports that Reavis is in custody in Mojave County, Arizona, and faces charges for fraudulent schemes and artifices, possession of marijuana, possession of prescription drugs, possession of drug paraphernalia, weapons misconduct by a prohibited possessor, and manufacture of a prohibited weapon. Police did not say exactly what Reavis' role was in Miller's death, stating only that his arrest was part of "an active case involving the death of music artist Malcolm McCormick." Another man, James Pettit, was arrested weeks ago after being accused of selling counterfeit oxycodone pills that contained fentanyl to Miller two days before he died.
