Patriots Owner Wants Video Evidence Related to Prostitution Arrest Sealed

March 21, 2019

Robert Kraft wants all video evidence relating to his arrest for solicitation of prostitution sealed, according to documents the New England Patriots owner's lawyers filed in court on Wednesday. ESPN reports the filing is meant to ensure what's said to be a "graphic and damning" surveillance video won't be released at the conclusion of Kraft's court case. The powerful NFL owner and 24 other men arrested have been offered a deal that would nix prosecution if they agree to pay fines, get tested for STDs, and acknowledge their guilt in court. However, the latter point is a dealbreaker--"That's not going to happen," ESPN reports a source close to Kraft said--and his legal team continues to negotiate.
