Obama, Jonas Brothers, LeBron & Others to Hold Televised Commencement for 2020 Graduates

Former President Barack Obama will give a televised, prime-time commencement address for the graduating high school Class of 2020. The Associated Press reports that the hour-long event will also include the Jonas Brothers, LeBron James, Malala Yousafzai, Ben Platt, Yara Shahidi, Bad Bunny, Lena Waithe, Pharrell Williams, Megan Rapinoe and H.E.R. High school students from Chicago public schools and the Obama Youth Jobs Corps will be featured too. ABC, CBS, Fox and NBC will air the special May 16 at 8 p.m. eastern time. It will also stream online. Variety reports that Obama and his wife Michelle will also take part in a separate YouTube graduation event, featuring BTS, Lady Gaga and others. That will stream on June 6.
