An FDNY firefighter who died on 9/11 has finally been laid to rest after his remains were identified 18 years later. CNN reports that loved ones and fellow firefighters gathered Tuesday to mourn Michael Haub after a medical examiner last week identified remains that were recovered at Ground Zero. "We remember him and the 342 other firefighters who perished that fateful day, and will be forever grateful for the courage they show," the Uniformed Firefighters Association said in a statement about Haub, who was a 13-year veteran of Ladder Company 4 in New York. CNN also notes that as of July, the remains of only about 60 percent of the 2,753 people killed at the World Trade Center on 9/11 have been identified.
