New England Patriots safety Patrick Chung faces felony cocaine possession charges in New Hampshire, ESPN reports. The 32-year-old was indicted on August 8 in Laconia, and faces arraignment next week. Belknap County attorney Andrew Livernois said police found enough evidence during a "call to service" at Chung's residence to issue the indictments. The 10-year NFL vet has not played in a game since breaking his arm in last year's Super Bowl, but has 140 appearances for the Patriots during his career. Chung is expected to start for the defending AFC champs this season, although will likely face a four-game suspension without pay under the NFL's collectively bargained substance abuse policy. It is unclear how much jail time he faces if he's found guilty. Chung was a no-show at the team's practice Tuesday, after having been a regular participant all camp.
