Netflix dropped some big news for the Beyhive on Sunday. As Entertainment Weekly reports, the streaming platform took to social media to tease its forthcoming Beyoncé documentary and revealed the release date. The teaser simply read Homecoming over a bright yellow background, with the date April 17 beneath it. Beyoncé's YouTube channel then dropped a short trailer, which features scenes from the singer's much talked about homage to historically black colleges during her headlining gigs at Coachella 2018. Us Weekly broke the news last week that the new documentary would feature Beyoncé's entire iconic performance from last year's festival. The film will also reportedly include never-before-seen footage. Homecoming debuts between the two weekends of Coachella 2019.
