Mrs. Doubtfire, arguably the best comedy to hit theaters in 1993, will soon be heading to Broadway. The musical remake of the hilarious film--which originally starred Robin Williams--does not yet have a theater or an opening date, but it's in development, Playbill reports. Rob McClure, Kate Baldwin and Mario Cantone have already signed on as cast members and will participate in an industry reading on May 16 and 17. The new musical was written by Something Rotten’s John O’Farrell and Karey Kirkpatrick, and the score was written by Kirkpatrick and her brother Wayne.
