After roughly six months and 3,000 miles, Mike Posner has completed his walk across America. "Moments after putting my feet in the Pacific Ocean after walking across America," the 31-year-old artist captioned a brief clip this past weekend that shows him raising his arms in victory. "Thank you all for the support. Keep going." Posner finished his feat two months after he was airlifted to a hospital in Colorado after being bitten by a rattlesnake during his trek. That injury set him back several weeks, as he noted on social media that he needed to use a walker just to get to the bathroom while in the hospital. Posner had said on his website that his goals while walking across the country were to  “leave each town we go through a little bit better than when we arrived,” “practice deep listening, "love everybody,” “sing for people,” and “enjoy where I am in the journey.”

Guys I’m nearing the end here. It’s time for me to focus up. There are lots of people congratulating me and asking me how it “was” and I’m not even done yet. I don’t even know what this experience means in the context of my life yet. I do know that I am not the same person I was when I started. I’m harder. I’m more authentic. I’m more real. I’m more myself. That’s the only trophy I need. Keep going.
