Lululemon has reportedly fired one of its art directors for promoting another artist's racist shirt amid the coronavirus pandemic. TMZ reports that Jess Sluder's design shows a Chinese takeout box with bat wings on it and the words "No Thank You" across the box. Lululemon employee Trevor Fleming shared a link to Sluder's $60 shirt this past weekend, despite many believing that the shirt promotes racist views about COVID-19. "We acted immediately, and the person involved is no longer an employee of Lululemon," the company said in a statement, adding that the shirt is not a Lululemon product. Meanwhile, Sluder said in a since-deleted post, "Where did COVID-19 come from? Nothing is certain, but we know a bat was involved."
