Lori Loughlin's Daughter in Danger of Losing Makeup Trademarks Over Poor Punctuation

March 27, 2019

It turns out Lori Loughiln's daughter needs help applying to lots of things besides college. The Blast reports that 19-year-old Olivia Jade Giannulli is in danger of losing her desired trademarks for "Olivia Jade Beauty” and “Olivia Jade" due to improper punctuation on her trademark applications. "Proper punctuation in identifications is necessary to delineate explicitly each product or service within a list and to avoid ambiguity,” officials from the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office reportedly informed Olivia in rejecting her latest paperwork. “Commas, semicolons, and apostrophes are the only punctuation that should be used.” Hey Olivia, we hear they teach punctuation in school, if you ever feel like showing up!
