Lori Loughlin Flying to L.A. to Turn Herself in for College-Admissions Scandal

March 13, 2019

Lori Loughlin, who was among the dozens of people indicted Tuesday in a college-admissions bribery scheme, is surrendering to federal authorities on Wednesday. The actress was in Vancouver when FBI agents arrived at her home on Tuesday and arrested her husband Mossimo Giannulli. The two have been charged with conspiracy to commit mail fraud after paying $500,000 to get their daughters, 19-year-old Olivia Jade and 20-year-old Isabella, into the University of Southern California. The Daily Mail reports that Loughlin is on a flight back to Los Angeles and her lawyer is scrambling to find her a "safe passage" so he can talk to her before the authorities do. In the meantime, Loughlin has deleted all of her social media accounts.
