Lori Loughlin Faces "Higher Sentence" Than Felicity Huffman in College Bribery Scandal

October 8, 2019

Lori Loughlin could be looking at a longer sentence than Felicity Huffman received for her role in the college bribery scandal. According to Deadline, the U.S. attorney behind Loughlin's prosecution made this statement during an interview on WCVB Boston on Sunday. U.S. Attorney for Massachusetts Andrew Lelling said, "If she is convicted, we would probably ask for a higher sentence for her than we did for Felicity Huffman." But he added, "I can't tell you what that would be." Huffman got only two weeks in jail after prosecutors requested one month, but Loughlin could reportedly face 40 years in the slammer. The Fuller House star and husband Mossimo Giannulli are awaiting trial after pleading not guilty in April to reportedly paying "$500,000 in bribes" to facilitate their two daughters' admission to USC.
