Lifetime announced Tuesday that it plans to premiere a Wendy Williams biopic in 2020 that the talk-show host will executive-produce. People says the “project provides a revealing look at Wendy’s journey, from her scrappy upstart days in urban radio to the success of her own syndicated talk show." The biopic will be accompanied by a documentary about Williams. Lifetime also announced plans for a film tentatively titled College Admissions Scandal, inspired by the real-life scandal that has ensnared actresses Lori Loughlin and Felicity Huffman. Loughlin and husband Mossimo Giannulli pleaded not guilty to charges they paid bribes to get their daughters into USC. Huffman has already pleaded guilty to paying $15,000 to help her eldest daughter cheat on the SAT. According to The Blast, Loughlin and Huffman are not being considered for roles in the scandal movie.
