Lady Gaga wowed the crowd at New York's Stonewall Inn and National Monument on Sunday when she made a surprise appearance at the city's World Pride Day festivities. “True love is when you would take a bullet for someone, and you know that I would take a bullet for you any day of the week," Gaga told her LGBT fans at the event while dressed in a rainbow-colored jacket and boots. “This is your freedom. This is your joy that you have deserved always. I will not stop in pursuit of this liberation." Meanwhile, Billboard notes that Nicki Minaj, Cher, Yoko Ono, and Brandi Carlile were among the female artists who commemorated World Pride Day on social media.
