Jussie Smollett Pleads Not Guilty to Lying to Police About Attack

Jussie Smollett pleaded not guilty on Thursday to charges accusing him of lying to Chicago police about being the victim of a racist and homophobic attack. The AP reports that Smollett's attorney calls the 16 counts of disorderly conduct against him "prosecutorial overkill." Smollett left the courtroom without speaking to reporters. He is due back in court on April 17.
