Jussie Smollett Celebrates LGBT "Pride" in 1st Post Since Alleged Fake Attack

June 11, 2019

Jussie Smollett returned to social media on Monday with his first post since he allegedly staged a hate crime on himself earlier this year. E! reports that the former Empire star shared a clip from Sunday's Tony Awards featuring black, gay playwright Tarell Alvin McCraney (who won an Oscar for writing Moonlight). "So much #PRIDE," Smollett wrote in the caption, along with two prayer-hands emojis. The openly gay actor also disabled comments on the post.
