Jessica Simpson's Personal Trainer Reveals How She Dropped 100 Pounds

Jessica Simpson’s personal trainer has revealed how the business mogul was able to drop 100 pounds since giving birth to her third child six months ago. "It had to be more than just getting back from her baby weight, but how do I keep whatever I am doing now forever,” Harley Pasternak tells E! News. “That's why we are not a big fan of doing any extreme diet or radical forms of exercise." Instead, Pasternak had Simpson walking at least 14,000 steps a day and helped her find a healthier version of the tasty foods she loves. In total, she would eat three meals a day and two snacks like parmesan green beans and a handful of almonds. While there weren't any cheat days, he did allow her to have cheat meals throughout the week, which he says makes indulging a bit "more balanced and sustainable.” Another part of the regimen? Getting a full seven hours a sleep and full-body workouts that focused on different muscles each day of the week.
