A group of angry patrons threatened a Houston Popeyes franchise at gunpoint after being told the restaurant was sold out of chicken sandwiches. ABC affiliate KTRK reports that the irate group of two women and three men first went through the drive-through, where they were told the sandwich was sold out. Then then grabbed a gun and tried to get into the restaurant. Luckily, employees were able to lock out the gun-toting crew, who left a baby in the car while trying to break in. Police are looking for the suspects, as charges could be filed. "It was more of an aggravated assault because he was displaying a weapon and threatened employees," Lt. Larry Crowson told KTRK.
