Lawyers for Harvey Weinstein have reportedly reached a tentative deal for $44 million that would settle a slew of civil sexual assault suits brought against the disgraced movie mogul. Page Six reports that the proposed settlement was announced in bankruptcy court in Delaware Thursday, and earmarks $30 million for the plaintiffs, including women who have accused him and Weinstein Co. employees. "The end goal of that mediation is to do a global settlement of the class action and all the tort claims against the Weinstein Company," Weinstein Co. attorney Robert Feinstein told NBC. Legal fees for the defendants would also be covered by the $30 million.
