Co-Workers Surprise Woman Who Had to Walk 12 Miles a Day to Work With New Car

November 5, 2019

On Tuesday, a woman walking 12 miles for work for three months was gifted a new car thanks to co-workers and a local car dealership. USA Today reports that 60-year-old Darlene Quinn couldn't afford car repairs and had to walk home from work for three months. Co-worker Josh Lewis and his boss noticed her predicament and offered to drive her. They ultimately started a GoFundMe page for Quinn on October 22. Within a week, about 100 people donated, and a local car dealership was able to work some magic to get Quinn a new car of her own. A video clip shows a very emotional reaction from Quinn when she was told on Tuesday.
