On Monday, chicken-based fast food retailer Chick-Fil-A announced that it's only working with certain charities in 2020, according to CNN. Chick-Fil-A has been the subject of some controversy due to its support of those organizations reputed to be anti-LGBTQ. In the future, Chick-Fil-A is only going to work with those charities that focus on hunger, education and homelessness. However, the company says that it won't exclude any organization for consideration. That stills leaves a chance that it could support anti-LGBTQ groups. Gay rights group GLADD said in a statement that they have "cautious optimism" about the news but that the food company still has a mixed past with regards to LGBTQ issues.
