On Saturday, Bella Thorne apologized to sex workers for new rules and restrictions put in place on OnlyFans, according to The Los Angeles Times. The former Disney star made $2 million dollars in less than a week on the subscription fan site, which is the online home to many sex workers. “I wanted to bring attention to the site,” she tweeted. "I have risked my career a few times to remove the stigma behind sex work, porn and the natural hatred people spew behind anything sex related." She continued, “In this process I hurt you and for that I’m truly sorry," she said. Pink News reports that OnlyFan performers doing sex work on the site were angry and blamed Thorne for new changes to the site put in place on Thursday. Now, no performer can charge over $50 for pay-per-view content and tips can not exceed $100. Payment also seems to have slowed. Performers blamed Thorne for "scamming" her own followers about nude photos--and making them deal with the consequences. “I’m meeting with only fans about the new restrictions to find out why!!!” Thorne claimed. “This is f**ked up and I’m sorry. Comment any ideas or concerns you want brought up to OF!!"
