According to Us Weekly, the singer was attempting to sing the chorus of "R.E.M.," from her Sweetener album, in St. Louis when she appeared to be crying. She shook her head and pulled her hand and arm to her face. A fan captured the moment on video. On Sunday, Grande tweeted about the incident, saying that touring and life were "wild" and noting that she is "grounded in gratitude." She shared her feelings because she hoped to help other people, adding, "I want you to know that if you are hurting, you can push through and are not alone."
