Michael Cohen to Call Trump "Racist" & "Conman" in 1st Public Hearing

February 27, 2019

President Donald Trump's former attorney Michael Cohen is set to deliver an explosive opening statement when he testifies before Congress on Wednesday. "I am ashamed of my weakness and misplaced loyalty--of the things I did for Mr. Trump in an effort to protect and promote him," he will say, according to an advanced copy of Cohen's remarks. "I am ashamed because I know what Mr. Trump is. He is a racist. He is a conman. He is a cheat." Cohen also claims that Trump was aware of longtime adviser Roger Stone's efforts to reach out to WikiLeaks in advance of its release of information about Hillary Clinton's presidential campaign.
