Dallas Cowboy Smokes Weed While Announcing That He's Quitting NFL Over Marijuana Policy

Last week, defensive lineman David Irving, who played for the Dallas Cowboys last season, was suspended indefinitely by the NFL for violating the league's drug policy. In an Instagram video Thursday, Irving announced that he was quitting pro football until the NFL loosened up its stance toward marijuana--while smoking weed. “Pass the blunt, bro,” a smiling Irving said into the camera while holding a sizable joint. “If I’m going to be addicted to something, I’d rather it be marijuana, which is medical. It’s medicine; I do not consider it a drug, rather than the Xanax bars or the hydros or the Seroquel and all that crazy s**t that they feed you...Plant over pills."
