News10 NBC is reporting that former Rochester City Court Judge Leticia Astacio has been found not guilty of attempted criminal purchase or disposal of a weapon. After two days of deliberation the jury in Syracuse sided with Astacio whose defense argued the terms of probation didn't spell out that Astacio couldn't buy a shotgun and that there is no proof she knew a shotgun would be a violation. The verdict means Astacio can keep her license to practice law. She also previously announced her intention to run for Rochester City Council.
