After being barred from playing in Canada and Pittsburgh, the Toronto Blue Jays have finally found a home for the 2020 season. The MLB team will play their non-away games at Buffalo's Sahlen Field--which is also where their Triple-A affiliate, the Buffalo Bisons, play.  An official from MLB confirmed the news to USA Today before the Jays later confirmed the news. "We are extremely grateful to have a home in Buffalo this season, thanks to the openness, creativity and partnership of the Buffalo Bisons, Major League Baseball and Blue Jays staff, who have worked tirelessly to prepare us for games at Sahlen Field," said Mark Shapiro, president and CEO of the Toronto Blue Jays. The team and MLB "now will be rushing to improve the lighting" and also make adjustments to Sahlen Field "for social distancing in the dugouts, clubhouses, training rooms and workout areas," USA Today notes. However, New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo said Friday the Jays' alleged Empire State relocation, "We are still pursuing play in Buffalo. It's not done yet, but I had a good conversation with the commissioner this morning. Fingers, fingers crossed. Maybe we get the Toronto Blue Jays in Buffalo after all."
