"Within the first 20 minutes of Rep. Jerry Nadler’s remarks, Sen. Richard Burr removed his papers from his desk and spun a blue fidget spinner," CNN breathlessly reported. Furthermore, Burr "was in charge of thee Senate GOP lunch" on Thursday, and passed out fidget spinners to his hungry colleagues. To this end, The New York Times reports that Senator Patrick Toomey (R-PA) has a "bipartisan candy desk" for folks to get their sugar fix.
