Nashville actress Clare Bowen is making the leap to real-life country artist with the upcoming release of her self-titled debut LP. The Aussie-born star's first-ever album is scheduled to arrive on July 12 with tracks written by the likes of Lori McKenna, Nathan Chapman and Wyatt Durrette; however, Rolling Stone notes, "Bowen wrote much of the album with her husband Brandon Robert Young." There's also a Buddy Miller collaboration called “Tide Rolls In," while the project's lead single, "Let It Rain," is a song Bowen's already known for performing live. Following the album's release, Bowen will embark on a five-city tour that hits New York on July 29; Alexandria, Virginia, on July 30; Boston on July 31; Nashville on August 2; and Chicago on August 4.
