Coronavirus Good News

Here are a few more good news stories from the outbreak...

1.  A bunch of parents in Ohio thanked teachers last week . . . AND helped a local business . . . by hiring a food truck to show up at school and serve lunch.

2.  The pandemic might eventually mean more jobs to choose from.  A new study found companies are now three times more willing to hire remote workers who live ANYWHERE in the U.S.

3.  "Citizen science" has seen a huge boom this year.  That's where regular people help scientists gather data and do research.  For example, birdwatching apps have seen a big bump in traffic.  And it's helping conservationists get a better handle on how many birds there are, and where they hang out.

4.  Back in December, a woman from Chicago started dating a guy in London after they bonded on Facebook over their love of "chonky" cats.  They both have cats that are a little overweight. Anyway, she went to visit him in July when the U.K. lifted its first lockdown.  And now four months later, she's still there . . . and they just got engaged.
