Here are a few more good news stories from the outbreak...

1.  There's an ice cream shop in Dallas called Howdy Homemade that almost had to close because of the pandemic.  But they just got a $50,000 grant because of their unique policy of only hiring people with special needs.  And now people online have also donated over $100,000 to help keep the place open.

2.  The deputy chief nurse at a hospital in New York ended up with a serious case of COVID-19 and almost died.  But the nurses who work under him saved his life.  And he finally got to go back to the I.C.U. to thank them in person.

3.  An 11-year-old girl in Georgia named Holli Morgan set a goal to make 500 masks to give away, and ended up making 1,200.  So a news station just gave her a check for $1,200 to buy an even better sewing machine and more supplies.

4.  A guy in Pennsylvania named Albert Montella just got his high school diploma right before his 100th birthday.  He left school early to help his family pay bills, and to fight in World War Two.  So they held a one-man graduation ceremony outside his retirement home where everyone wore masks.  They even got him his own cap and gown.  He says the secret to a long life is pizza and a glass of wine every night.
