New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees said he is still against players kneeling during the national anthem, according to TMZ. "I will never agree with anybody disrespecting the flag of the United States of America," Brees said, mentioning his veteran grandfathers. Lebron James and several NFL stars weighed in, including his own teammate Malcolm Jenkins. "You literally still don’t understand why Kap was kneeling on one knee??" asked James. "He’s beyond lost. Guarantee you there were black men fighting along side your grandfather," tweeted 49'er Richard Sherman. New England Patriots stars and twins Devin and Jason McCourty's joint Twitter account posted, "This is a disgrace! To speak about your grandfathers as if there weren’t black men fighting next to them." "People like you are raising your children to perpetuate the cycle. Drew, you are the problem," said former Seahawk Doug Baldwin. "You’re somebody who I had a great deal of respect for, but sometimes, you should shut the f**k up," said Saints teammate Malcolm Jenkins.
