You would think Florida Governor Ron DeSantis' decision to temporarily shutter all bars and nightclubs would put a damper on spring break. Nope: Spring breakers who would otherwise be doing shots in Sunshine State watering holes have flocked en masse to the beach, coronavirus be damned. "If I get corona, I get corona," aspiring SoundCloud Brady Sluder, who's partying his face off in Miami, told Reuters in a now-viral interview. "At the end of the day, I'm not going to let it stop me from partying. We've been waiting for Miami spring break for awhile." In response to such shenanigans, Florida Senator Rick Scott delivered a very strong message to sandy revelers on CNN: "Get off the beach." He added, "They're feeling invincible...But they don't realize that they could be carrying lots of bad things home to their grandmother and grandfather and even their parents."
