Last week in Belgium, Jimmy De Frenne sat down on a toilet in a bar and didn't get up for nearly five days. He didn't have the world's worst case of diarrhea; rather, he was attempting to set a Guinness World Record for longest time sitting on a toilet. Odds are he succeeded, because Guinness didn't have a record for this category prior to De Frenne's attempt. As Inside Edition notes, De Frenne sat on a toilet that was positioned near the bar's patrons and wasn't connected to plumbing. Hence, he was ironically granted a five-minute break every hour to stretch and use a real toilet, if need be. Ultimately, lack of sleep and leg pain left him short of his 165-hour goal, but his attempt has nevertheless been submitted to Guinness for official recognition.
