In coming months, your Amazon purchase might arrive at your house thanks to a self-piloting drone. According to the Associated Press, the drones will use computer vision and machine learning to detect people or other obstacles while flying and landing. They're fully electric and can fly up to 15 miles an hour and can carry goods that weight up to five pounds. Amazon has been working on drone delivery since at least 2013, but did not say how soon the new self-pilot delivery drones would be rolled out.
